The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking customer orders, loading delivery trucks, and performing inventory counts. They must also operate material handling equipment and maintain a safe, clean working environment.

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:00am – 4:30pm; Monday, Tuesday 11:30am – 8:00pm; Wednesday, Thursday off (5 days x 8 hours) In this role you will: * Conduct customer product order picks and load delivery trucks * Complete inventory counts with Supervisor * Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document, as required * Use RF (Radio Frequency) Scanner to scan products and items into WMS system * Complete customer pick-up orders, as required, and provide exceptional customer service * Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations and maintain a clean working environment * Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, as required * Work together as part of the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations The Qualifications and Experience we like to see: * High school diploma * Ability to think quickly and tackle problems * Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners * Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg) * Ability to work a flexible shift which may include evenings and weekends * Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate material handling equipment (i.e.., forklift, pallet truck, order picker, walkie, reach truck, etc.) * Experience working within a warehouse environment and knowledge of warehouse management systems are considered assets Why members of our Operations team love working at Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous?: * Diverse and inclusive work environment * Competitive hourly rates and annual performance bonus * Full medical, dental benefits and a Deferred Profit-Sharing Program * Annual Wellness Credit of up to $250.00 for any products/services that improve your health and well-being, i.e., health assessments, nutrition counselling, hiking shoes, a yoga outfit or fitness equipment * Associate Discount Program where you will be able to enjoy some of the world’s best sleep products * Maternity/Parental leave top up benefits * Tuition Reimbursement Program that covers professional AND personal development * Yearly safety footwear and/or uniform allowance * A focus on training and development * Long service awards, celebrations and other social events * Associate Referral Program * Paid day off to volunteer at your local charity of choice * Recognized as one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures in 2023 by Waterstone Human Capital Addtional information This is a current open position. The starting hourly rate is $24.85. Rate is based on market location.
