As we look towards our future and consider our resourcing needs for anticipated engagements, we are interested in meeting experienced Technical Training Developers / Instructional Designers / eLearning Specialists to expand our network and build long-lasting relationships. THE OPPORTUNITY The Technical Training Developer is responsible for instructional design of various courses in support of digital transformations. They create new training documents and modules as well as re-work existing training materials to facilitate successful learning outcomes and objectives. Highlights of the role include: Draft course outlines including learning outcomes and objectives based on the end user job roles and tasks Work with subject matter experts to understand content of training from an end user perspective Develop all training materials to fulfill on course outlines, including facilitator guide and presentation, exercises and scenarios, participant guides, quick reference guides, one-point lessons, and job aids May create eLearning course-ware Work with task recorders and other authoring tools to create materials Populate training sandbox with data to run exercises and scenarios Work with translators to ensure training material is translated accurately Work with trainers to ensure they are confident and capable of delivering training material Support the help desk development process and approach where required YOU You’re comfortable contracting with an established boutique firm and look forward to furthering your successful track record of delivering results for clients. You: Combine your relevant educational background with at least 3 years of experience developing training for enterprise applications such as SAP / S4 Hana, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage X3, Salesforce or for highly complex technology implementations that involve multiple core modules Have a proven track record in instructional design and applying adult learning principles Have independently created high complexity courses such as Financial Planning, Inventory Management, Forecasting & Replenishment, Master Data, etc. Ideally though not required, can leverage experience developing ERP training for Manufacturing, Consumer Packaged Goods or Retail sectors Have strong PowerPoint skills to develop materials; Experience developing eLearning training and/or using authoring tools an asset If you’re interested in working with us and learning how our projects might fit with your other consulting work, please get in touch.
