The Account Manager, Sales Insurance is responsible for developing and growing strategic relationships with insurance partners while driving profitable sales growth, increasing market share, and enhancing the customer claims experience. This role serves as a trusted advisor to key insurance partners and acts as the primary liaison between Belron Canada and insurer stakeholders. The incumbent is accountable for developing account strategies, negotiating commercial agreements, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring alignment between partner expectations and Belron Canada's operational capabilities. Working closely with Commercial Strategy, Pricing, Operations, IT, Finance, and Customer Experience teams, the Strategic Insurance Partnership Manager plays a key role in strengthening Belron Canada's position as the industry's preferred glass repair, replacement, and ADAS calibration partner. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership Development Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance directors, managers, and decision-makers. Develop and deliver compelling business reviews, presentations, and strategic recommendations. Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with insurance partners. Create and execute strategic account plans to support growth and increase market share. Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective partners. Position Belron Canada as the industry leader in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration services. Account Management & Business Growth Drive improvement in Take-Up Rates (TUR) and overall account performance. Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to increase conversion rates and profitability. Conduct regular business reviews with partners, including performance tracking and action planning. Ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives and partner-specific projects. Maintain accurate account documentation, including contracts, pricing schedules, proposals, meeting notes, and stakeholder information. Business Alignment & Operational Excellence Lead cross-functional initiatives that support strategic sales objectives. Ensure alignment between operational processes and contractual commitments. Identify opportunities to improve claims management processes and customer experiences. Support service centres by identifying and implementing operational improvements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor financial performance, technology initiatives, security requirements, sustainability objectives, and strategic priorities. Stay informed of market trends, industry developments, competitive activity, and partner priorities. Stakeholder Management & Issue Resolution Influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to improve business processes and contractual outcomes. Manage and resolve escalated partner concerns and customer issues. Foster collaboration among Operations, IT, Customer Experience, Pricing, Finance, and Commercial Strategy teams. Sales Planning & Performance Management Achieve annual sales targets, budgets, and business plans for assigned insurance accounts. Increase market share while maintaining profitable growth and margin contribution. Analyze account performance and provide recommendations based on data and business insights. Develop performance reports and dashboards to track key metrics and trends. Support tender processes, annual negotiations, and strategic initiatives when required. Share best practices and growth strategies across the insurance partnership portfolio. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field. 3 to 6 years of experience in account management, insurance, strategic partnerships, business development, or sales. Strong understanding of the insurance claims environment and insurer operations. Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements and influence stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business opportunities. Knowledge of pricing strategies, market analysis, and business performance metrics. Familiarity with data exchange processes, systems integrations, and information security principles. Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities. Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused. Bilingualism (English and French) is required due to regular interactions with partners and stakeholders across Canada.
