We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Property Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the financial performance and oversight of our real estate portfolio—contributing directly to strategic investment decisions and operational excellence. You’ll work at the intersection of finance, operations, and real estate strategy, providing insights that drive smart decision-making while ensuring financial accuracy and integrity. What you’ll do Financial Oversight & Investment Support * Analyze and support financial requests related to renovations, major maintenance, and capital investment (CAPEX) projects * Ensure compliance with budgets and financial frameworks * Partner with stakeholders throughout the investment approval and tracking process Lease & Payment Management * Prepare and maintain lease-related financial schedules to support rent payments * Monitor lease financial obligations and ensure timely and accurate payments * Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth and reliable financial flows Budgeting & Financial Insights * Contribute to the development, monitoring, and analysis of real estate budgets (retail and wholesale) * Deliver financial insights to support cost optimization, risk mitigation, and strategic decisions * Provide leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations Reporting & Continuous Improvement * Maintain and enhance financial dashboards and reporting tools * Produce recurring reports for key stakeholders * Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, clarity, and efficiency What you bring * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is a strong asset) * 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in the real estate sector * Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy * Proficiency with real estate accounting systems and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) * Bilingual (French & English) * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment #LI-Hybrid We believe that genuine care can make a real difference in the customer experience, and it begins with making a difference in the careers of our team members.
