As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, while ensuring all operations comply with company policies. You will make a difference by: Fostering and maintaining a positive work environment that drives employee engagement, while ensuring clear communication to align the team with warehouse objectives. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee feedback and innovative solutions. Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, while providing ongoing support and coaching to warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Adhering to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with local and global health and safety standards. Conducting regular safety audits and training sessions to reinforce a strong safety culture. Monitoring inventory levels to minimize excess stock and storage costs. Optimizing warehouse layout, workflows, and processes to increase operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve productivity while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Creating work schedules and approving timesheets for warehouse employees and drivers, while preparing outbound shipment schedules. Analyzing operational costs and key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. Regularly analyzing and presenting reports on key performance metrics related to warehouse operations, safety, and delivery performance. Building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, carriers, internal supply chain teams, and Human Resources (People & Culture) partners. What you bring: 5 to 7 years of experience in warehouse management and/or team leadership, preferably within the automotive industry. Diploma, certification, or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (considered an asset). Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to unexpected changes. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Solid knowledge of health and safety standards within warehouse and delivery environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and advanced knowledge of the AS400 system.
