SAP Training Consultant

Job Title: SAP / Coupa Trainer 4-month contract | Hybrid in Alberta or BC (with Travel to Project Sites) | Must hold a valid Canadian Work Visa Our client is undergoing a major enterprise technology transformation and is seeking an experienced SAP / Coupa Trainer to support end-user training, user adoption, and organizational change activities. This role will work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and change management resources to prepare users for the successful rollout of new enterprise applications. The successful candidate will deliver instructor-led training, develop engaging learning materials, and provide post-go-live support to help ensure a smooth transition to new business processes and technologies. Candidates with expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or Coupa Procurement and Spend Management are encouraged to apply. Experience supporting both platforms is considered a strong asset. Responsibilities: Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for end users across multiple business functions Develop, maintain, and update training materials, including user guides, job aids, presentations, process documentation, and learning resources Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business processes, workflows, and training requirements Translate complex system functionality into clear, practical, and user-friendly training content Conduct training needs assessments and support user readiness, knowledge transfer, and adoption activities Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating business processes and supporting end-user readiness Provide post-go-live support, including user coaching, knowledge reinforcement, and issue resolution during stabilization periods Partner with project teams, business leads, and change management resources to support successful technology adoption Gather user feedback and recommend improvements to training materials and delivery approaches Support onsite training activities at client locations as required throughout the project Qualifications: Required Qualifications Proven experience delivering training for enterprise business applications such as SAP or Coupa Strong understanding of business processes supported by enterprise systems Experience developing end-user training materials, documentation, and learning content Demonstrated experience delivering training to diverse user groups in both classroom and virtual environments Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple training deliverables in a fast-paced project environment Willingness and ability to travel to client sites throughout Alberta and British Columbia as required Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), including maintenance, asset management, and operational business processes Experience with Coupa, including procurement, purchasing, supplier management, invoicing, or spend management workflows Experience supporting ERP implementations, system upgrades, or enterprise digital transformation initiatives Experience working within mining, manufacturing, utilities, energy, or other asset-intensive industries Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments Experience delivering onsite training and post-go-live hypercare support Why Join This Project?
