housekeeping room attendant

_*We are looking for a highly motivated, customer service orientated individual who can work independently to create an overall positive in room experience for our guests in the hotel. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Fergus or nearby areas.*_ _*Must be available for early mornings and weekends.*_ _*Part time position.*_ *Room Attendant Duties -* * Enters and prepares the room for cleaning, makes bed, dusts the room and furniture. * Cleans the bathroom, Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies. * Checks and secures the rooms, cleans the closet,vacuums and racks the carpet.Replenish amenities according to the operational standards. * Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests. * Responsible for the Hotel property in the work area. * Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him. * Responsible for following the standard operating procedures. * Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:* * High school graduate or equivalent. * Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. * Superior guest services skills. *WORKING CONDITIONS:* * Some heavy lifting required. * Standing for long periods of time. * Use of cleaning chemicals * Listening and mental attentiveness in fulfilling guests requirements. * Sets-up and cleans up Breakfast buffet on a daily basis. * Infrequent handling of queries from guests, and property staff. * Works early morning shift, week and weekends, with minimum supervision. * Maintains good personal appearance at all times; wear proper uniform and name tag as prescribed by hotel. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour Work Location: In person
