Job Role: Business Analyst – Senior (Public Sector exp) Location : Toronto, ON/Onsite Position Type : Contract Role Contract Duration: Till 2027-03-31 Candidate must work 5 days onsite Ideal Candidate Rate: CAD 85-90/Hr (Depending on the experience) Must Have: Proficiency in SQL database querying Experience to feed work to the team and dedicated to looking ahead at upcoming work and grooming requirements so that they’re well-understood, documented, and ready to go Experience with Agile project methodology Experience assembling requirements into coherent user stories Experience in managing the Product Backlog Items, refining them and communicate changes to project manager/Team Lead Requirements documentation experience in the format of concise and clear user stories Knowledge of design, develop, test and implement systems solutions, and evaluate software/ hardware Knowledge in API design, integration and technical requirement definition Hands-on experience with creating and managing user stories using Azure DevOps Establish effective working relationships with I&IT management, clients, internal and external partners/ stakeholders and project staff Note: AI-enabled tools may be used to sort applications based on job-related criteria. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for grooming requirements, managing the product backlog, and creating coherent user stories. They will collaborate with I&IT management and stakeholders to design and implement system solutions.

Candidates must be proficient in SQL and experienced with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps. Prior experience in the public sector and knowledge of API design and integration are required.
