We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker (Client Service Representative) to join our team in our Montreal office! As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible to maintain and service a profitable book of business based upon the company’s objectives and individual business plans. Your Day as a Client Service Representative * Request and follow up with insurers and/or clients for outstanding information, endorsements or policy documentation. * Prepare proposals for renewals and new business. * Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters. * Work with the Client Executives and Client Service Managers in negotiating with Insurers and/or changes, renewals and new business where applicable. * Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness and as required, notes and corrects errors. * Create abeyance and follow up for outstanding items from underwriters, markets and clients. * Market own new business and renewals when necessary. * Monitor and follow up on outstanding client’s receivables. * Create and streamline processes. * Responsible for monthly Bordeaux, where required * Invoice and manage receivables. * Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required. Our Ideal Candidate * 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance brokerage. * Insurance broker's license issued by the AMF * Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside Quebec. * Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word). * Good knowledge of EPIC is an asset * Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work well independently, as part of a team * Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications * Effective time management and organizational skills * Customer focused and service oriented. * High attention to detail.
