Quality in Every Project Now Hiring Sandblasters Advanced Shop-Based Facility | Innisfail, Alberta Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd., in Innisfail, AB is looking for a hardworking and dedicated Sandblaster to join our team! Reporting directly to the Foreman, the Sandblaster is responsible for abrading surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to prepare them for painting, painting structural steel components, skids, vessels and pipes, includes moving material to and from the blasting / painting areas. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Overtime Schedule: Minimum 10 hours/day and 6 days per week, or as required by management to meet required production needs. Status: Full-Time, Permanent — Home Every Night Why Bilton? * Competitive pay and reliable hours * Overtime opportunities * Full benefits package * RRSP matching * Career growth and skill development * Long-term stability with a respected, growing company * Safety-first, goal-driven team culture proud of the work we deliver Scope of Work * Mask skids for sandblasting and painting. * Clean and prepare skids for painting. * Perform rigging techniques as per industry standards. * Shovel and/or pour abrasives such as sand or grit into the machine hopper * Mask specific areas of object to protect from abrading actions * Examine finished product to ensure conformance to specifications * Prepare finished product for shipping * Report all non-conforming material to the department Supervisor Qualifications/Requirements: * Two years of experience in a similar industry preferred. * Possesses proficient operational knowledge of painting equipment and supplies. * Proficient in basic and industrial paint mixing and applications. * Must have CSA approved safety boots Application Details: We provide hands-on training and an opportunity to work on some of the most interesting projects and applications in the Oil and Gas industry. The Sandblaster is responsible for abrading and preparing metal surfaces for painting and performing painting tasks on structural steel, vessels, and pipes. They must also manage material movement and ensure all finished products meet quality specifications.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in a similar industry and possess proficient knowledge of painting equipment and industrial paint applications. A valid CSA approved safety boot requirement is mandatory for this shop-based role.
