What will you be doing? * Daily cleaning of all washroom facilities inside and outside, as well as daily cleaning of hallways, offices and staff areas. * Thorough cleaning of toilets, urinals, bathroom stalls, walls, sinks, counters and floors. * Vacuuming of floors, garbage removal. * Wiping down ledges, walls, doors, cleaning windows. * Controlling recyclable items and making sure they are in their proper containers. * When time allows, assist Convention Services with the placement of tablecloths and skirting. * Perform other duties as required. What We're Looking For? * Previous housekeeping experience required * Previous customer service experience preferred. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work in a busy environment. * Ability to work independently with a minimal supervision. * Physically demanding job- heavy lifting, extensive walking and standing, repetitive motions. * Working with some potentially hazardous chemicals. This is a part-time seasonal position (20-30 hours/week). Hours vary depending on business needs. Day/evening/overnight and weekend shifts available. Payrate: $17.60/h as a base rate plus $2.50/h in gratuities This position is for an open vacancy currently available within our organization.
