Description IMDEA Energy is opening a Laboratory Technician Position for the Photoactivated Processes Unit, looking for talented candidates to work on the development of hybrid materials for solar fuels production by photoelectrochemical processes, within the framework of the 2025 Call for Grants for «Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento» and actions for the training of predoctoral research personnel associated with these projects, funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033. Tasks Description The requirements are as follows: Daily laboratory maintenance tasks such as: stock management of reagents and laboratory material, routine calibration of laboratory equipment, waste management and control of gas supply to the laboratory Deals and agreements with suppliers. Management and maintenance of databases Provide support to researchers in synthesizing tasks Give support to the researchers of the unit in testing Photoelectrodes and Photocatalyst Requirements Compulsory Requirements: Higher Degree in Analysis and Quality Control or similar Proven experience in laboratory work as technician Other Merits To Value Proven experience in synthetic skills Proven expertise on photo(electro)chemistry Oral and written communication skills in English Selection Criteria Adequacy of the candidate's training and experience to the requested profiel Previous experience as technician in R&D labs Motivation for accomplishing high-quality research. Conditions Remuneración: Depending upon qualification and expertise. The contract includes all the benefits of the Spanish Public Health and Social Security System.
