Description IMDEA Energy is opening a Laboratory Technician Position for the Electrical Systems Unit, looking for talented and motivated candidates for the maintenance of control systems, assembly of electronic boards, and wiring of electrical cabinets. In particular, the role will cover all maintenance and development needs related to the "Smart Energy Integration Lab" to support studies on the stability of electricity networks. Tasks Description The requirements are as follows: Maintenance and design of circuits and PCBs for electronic boards. Assembly and wiring of electronic equipment and electrical cabinets. Executing real-time proof of concept studies for complex scenarios related to the stability of electrical networks. General maintenance of laboratory and equipment. In charge of purchasing materials and consumables. Requirements Compulsory Requirements: An official Higher National Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Control Systems or related disciplines. Other Merits To Value Prior knowledge and experience in embedded control systems, as well as assembly and wiring of sensors and actuators. Prior knowledge and experience in the design and maintenance of electronic circuits and electrical cabinets. Assembly and testing of electronic boards. Prior knowledge and experience in working with power electronic converters. Prior knowledge of computer networks. Prior knowledge of microprocessors and Texas Instruments DSP. Oral and written communication skills in English. Selection Criteria Adequacy of the candidate's training to the requested profile. Additionally, the role involves executing real-time proof of concept studies for electrical network stability and managing laboratory consumables.

Candidates must hold an official Higher National Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Systems or a related discipline. Prior experience with embedded systems, power electronics, and microprocessors is highly valued.
