Birch Mountain Enterprises is looking to hire experienced Class 1 operators for our Fort McKay Incubator park location to support Fuel Truck Operation on our client site. Must be TDG knowledgeable, with a minimum of 3 years of manual transmission experience and previous Fluid hauling experience. We are seeking safety-conscious Class 1 driver. Must have a clean driver’s abstract. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have previous experience operating Fuel trucks in the oilfield environment, tri-drive, and Super B experience, as well as the qualities listed below. Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate Tri-drive or oversee the operation of Super B Fuel trucks in an efficient manner. * Must also be willing to do other types work (Water, sewer, combo vac, Semi Vac etc.) * Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to paper or electronic logbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections. * Follow instructions for tasks assigned by site Dispatch or Supervisor. * Complete daily housekeeping of truck and office trailer to ensure maintenance of company image. * Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures. * Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards and procedures. * Ensure that all training is kept current. * Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations. * Seek continuous improvement opportunities. * Provide customer-focused services in all activities. Qualifications: * Possess a valid Class 1 operator’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. * Able to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. * Clear verbal and written communication skills and able to confidently interact with clients daily. * Mine driving experience is an asset. * Previous experience on fuel trucks (including operation of up to 18 speed manual class 1 equipment) would be preferred. * CSTS and OSSA certification (or BSO) * Active Certifications in Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Weights and Dimensions, Hours of Service and Daily Trip Inspections. * CPPI Certification would be an asset. * Must successfully pass BME pre-employment conditions, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening.
