Must be TDG knowledgeable, with a minimum of 3 years manual transmission experience and previous Combo Vac experience. What's in it for you? 14 on 14 off, days and nights. Job Summary: Operating from our Imperial Oil site (Keatl), this position involves the safe operation of several types of Class 3 units. Operators should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. Preference will be given to candidates that possess previous experience in the industrial sector. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate Combo Vac units. Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in all weather. Completion of daily documentation, including but not limited to daily logbooks, customer work orders, field-level risk assessment, and pre/post-trip inspections. Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor. Complete daily housekeeping of the assigned truck to ensure maintenance of the company image. Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures. Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards and procedures. Ensure that all training is kept current. Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations. Seek out continuous improvement opportunities. Provide customer-focused services in all activities. Qualifications: Possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. Minimum 3 years of experience, including up to 18 speed manual class 1 or 3 equipment. Previous or related experience operating Combo Vac units. Mine drive experience is an asset. Clear verbal and written communication skills. OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification. Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Good, Daily Trip Inspections, Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta, Weights and Dimensions, Cargo Securement for flatbeds, WHMIS, and H2S Alive. Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, Drug and Alcohol and fit for duty pre-employment screening. Exigences
