Body Repair Technician (Red Seal) Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Job Summary The Body Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This role involves assessing vehicle damage, repairing or replacing damaged body panels, straightening frames, performing metalwork, preparing surfaces for painting, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards. Body Repair Technicians use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently while following manufacturer specifications and workplace safety procedures. They collaborate with estimators, painters, and other automotive professionals to deliver high-quality repairs and ensure customer satisfaction. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of automotive repair techniques are essential for success in this role.
