Class 1/AZ Shunt Driver

Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! 12-hour shifts Full time position, working up to 45 hours per week. Shunting experience is an asset Hourly rate: $23.66/hour and hourly safety bonus $0.50 /extra an hour if LCV qualified. Hours of work may change from time to time according to operational demands Reporting directly to Shunt Coordinator and Yard Services Supervisor Essential responsibilities are trailer movement, trailer staging, trailer quality checks, and trailer greasing and other tasks as assigned Responsible for handling all incoming requests to the Winnipeg shunt team on assigned shift Managing all trailer movements on assigned shift Needs to work closely with Shunt Coordinator, City Dispatch, Maintenance, and the Warehouse on daily shunting activities Must be comfortable with smartphone technology for emailing, texting, and internet. Candidate Profile Company Driver residing in Winnipeg or immediate area Must have a Class 1/AZ license and 24 months tractor trailer experience You will be well organized and possess excellent customer service skills Foster a teamwork environment Ensure other shunt drivers are operating with good efficiency and offer coaching to improve Driver who consistently leads by example You will be reliable, flexible, and punctual Must be comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations Are you registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?
