Fleet Dispatcher, LCV (Turnpike)

As a LCV Fleet Dispatcher, you will play a key role in the daily coordination and success of our fleet operations. You will monitor fleet activity, ensure accurate and timely communication between drivers and internal teams, and support the efficient movement of freight while maintaining exceptional customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills, sound decision-making abilities, and a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges as they arise. Specific Responsibilities include: Dispatch and coordinate drivers, equipment, and loads to meet customer and operational requirements. Maintain accurate scheduling, routing, and fleet activity records. Manage driver communications and provide timely operational updates through satellite messages or calls. Resolve day-to-day operational issues involving drivers, customers, payroll, scheduling, and maintenance. Complete required reporting, documentation, and planning activities. Support training, special projects, weekend planning, and other related duties as assigned. Our Ideal Candidate will possess: Dispatch experience is required in order to be considered for this role. Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment. Well organized, an excellent communicator and have a keen sense of timeliness. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven analytical and critical thinking skills. This position is subject to a Continental Shift, 06:00 - 18:00.
