Associate Lawyer – Commercial Real Estate BJRC Recruiting · Toronto, Canada (On-site) About Us Our client is a leading Bay Street law firm with a strong and well-established commercial real estate practice. Responsibilities Advise on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial leasing Act on secured lending and real estate financing transactions for lenders and borrowers Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and ancillary agreements Conduct and manage real estate due diligence and closings Coordinate with internal corporate, banking, and tax teams Manage files with partner oversight and increasing autonomy Support partners and senior lawyers on active real estate mandates Job Details Full-time associate position based in Toronto Collaborative, mentorship-driven environment High-volume, fast-paced practice with sophisticated clients Opportunity to take on responsibility early and develop strong file ownership Requirements Member in good standing of the Ontario Bar 2+ years of call (flexible depending on fit and experience) Training at a Bay Street or comparable firm in commercial real estate Strong transactional foundation in real estate law Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and real estate financings Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and proactive Comfortable operating in a demanding, deadline-driven environment Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach REF#LI11751
