Wear plain clothes to work undercover, discreetly blending in with shoppers. Patrol store aisles, monitor customers, and watch security camera footage. Confront individuals you suspect of theft, who have unpaid merchandise. Escort trespassers out of the client premises. Perform arrests, detainments, and recover unpaid merchandise Complete required documentation for security incidents such as theft and violations. Escalate situation to law enforcement as required. Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner. The Ideal Candidate A Valid Ontario Security License Use of Force certificate preferred/willing to get one Experience with arrests and detaining shoplifting Previous security experience in a retail environment Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Experience Undercover/LPO: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification Ontario Security License (required) Use of Force certification (preferred) Work Location: In person

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for preventing retail theft by patrolling store aisles, monitoring security footage, and detaining shoplifters. They must also document security incidents and escalate situations to law enforcement when necessary.

Candidates must possess a valid Ontario Security License and have at least one year of experience in an undercover or loss prevention role. A Use of Force certificate is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a retail environment.
