Patrol store aisles, monitor customers, and watch security camera footage. Confront individuals you suspect of theft, who have unpaid merchandise. Escort trespassers out of the client premises. Perform arrests, detainments, and recover unpaid merchandise Complete required documentation for security incidents such as theft and violations. Escalate situation to law enforcement as required. Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner. The Ideal Candidate A Valid Alberta Security License is required Previous security experience in a retail environment Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, is required Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills Ability to work without close supervision A keen interest in asset protection and crime prevention

Prevent shoplifting and maintain a safe retail environment through patrolling, monitoring security cameras, and confronting suspects. Responsibilities include detaining individuals, recovering merchandise, and documenting security incidents.

A valid Alberta Security License is required for this position. Candidates should have previous retail security experience and strong communication skills.
