Our team values optimal patient care, accuracy, compassion, and teamwork in ensuring patients receive safe and efficient medication management. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will perform duties permitted under the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) guidelines for pharmacy assistants, supporting the pharmacist in day-to-day operations and delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately enter and process prescriptions in the pharmacy software system * Prepare and label medications under pharmacist supervision * Manage inventory: receive, stock, and maintain medication supplies * Handle cash register transactions and insurance billing * Answer phones and assist patients with general inquiries * Support prescription transfers and refill coordination * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dispensary * Follow all ACP and pharmacy policies and procedures Qualifications: * Minimum 1?2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a community pharmacy setting (experience with Alberta pharmacies preferred) * Proficiency with KROLL pharmacy software * Strong communication and organizational skills * Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics * Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends as required.
