Admission Counsellor Company: Blue Kite Immigration Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Mississauga, Ontario Work Setting: In-Office Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM About Blue Kite Immigration Blue Kite Immigration is a Canadian immigration and education consulting company helping clients navigate their immigration, education, and application processes in Canada. We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Admission Counsellor to join our team in Mississauga. Job Summary The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students and clients through the Canadian college and university admission process, from the initial consultation through application completion and follow-up. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Canadian post-secondary institutions, admission requirements, application procedures, documentation, and client counselling. Key Responsibilities Counsel students regarding Canadian colleges, universities, programs, and admission options. Understand clients' educational backgrounds, career goals, budgets, and preferences. Recommend suitable programs and institutions based on client profiles. Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, intakes, programs, and application procedures. Manage the complete admission application process from start to finish. Collect, review, and organize required documents. Prepare and submit applications accurately and within deadlines. Communicate with colleges and universities regarding applications, offers, and required documents. Follow up with clients regarding pending documents, application status, offers, and next steps. Maintain accurate client records and update the CRM regularly. Handle client communication through phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth client experience. Maintain strong client relationships throughout the admission process. Meet assigned application and performance targets. Stay updated on Canadian college and university admission requirements, programs, intakes, and relevant changes. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Canadian education admissions, student counselling, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of the Canadian college and university admission process. Experience handling applications from initial counselling through completion. Good understanding of Canadian programs, institutions, intakes, and admission requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong client-handling and counselling skills. Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines. Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Experience using CRM systems and digital documentation is an asset.
