Accountabilities and Key Functions Key functions include: * Lead all aspects of project financings from initial structuring through to post-closing activities for one or more ongoing project financings, including construction loans, tax equity bridge loans, back leverage/term loans, and hybrid/holdco financings (includes financings in both Canada and the USA). * Management of project financings in the existing operating portfolio (refinancings, amendments, and other related deliverables). * Assist with structuring financings for the development asset portfolio * Conduct corporate financial modelling to support company valuation workstreams * Potential to support corporate development and commercial initiatives for the operating and development portfolio (including economic analysis, RFP responses, offtake agreement structuring, managing partnerships and pricing, etc.) * Build and maintain relationships with a number of key third parties, including lenders, lawyers, independent engineers, and advisors * Upholds all aspects of BluEarth’s Environmental, Health, & Safety policies, practices, and programs; and * Uphold the company’s core values. Education * University degree, preferably in Management, Business, Finance, or Engineering but consideration will be given to those that possess tangible and proven experience and skills; and * Credentials such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA are required. Experience * Minimum 7 years’ experience in finance, corporate development, banking, or relevant field. Personal Characteristics & Skills * Strong work ethic.
