BMW Group Financial Services Canada, located in Richmond Hill, is offering an internship within its Compliance Department. The successful candidate will be actively supporting the Chief Compliance Officer in the development, implementation and maintenance of the local Compliance Management System in accordance with relevant internal and external compliance requirements. What awaits you? Support maintenance of an effective Compliance Management System (CMS) meeting all internal and external compliance requirements. Manage and update the Compliance pages for the Associate Intranet. Support the operation of the Corporate Governance Framework: policies & procedures oversight, monthly newsletter communications, and committee management. Support monitoring & testing of compliance related controls. Support regular compliance communication and awareness campaigns towards associates. Support implementation of compliance processes and tools. Support regular and ad-hoc compliance reporting to local management and central functions. Support compliance-related projects as needed by developing presentations, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate key insights and drive informed decision-making Support and participate in presentations and training sessions This position may take on additional duties and responsibilities, should the need arise. What should you bring along? Completed a post-secondary degree or diploma with a focus on business. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Well-developed oral and written communications skills. Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, Approvals, Power Automate, and workflow automation solutions, is considered an asset Technical fluency: knowledge/experience with Python programming, leveraging AI tools to build or automate work solutions Ability to analyze, design and implement automated solutions is an asset. Knowledge and experience with Tableau is an asset. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
