The position at a glance This role supports the BNP Paribas mission by ensuring the integrity and availability of critical financial reporting tools and data. The main objective is to provide first-line user support through inquiry response, training, and collaborative research with Front-Office, IT, and Risk teams. The position ensures operational continuity by managing the financial closing cycle and proactively managing project handovers to prevent technical incidents. In detail Provide first-line user support by responding to inquiries and conducting training to ensure seamless operations across Front-Office and IT teams. Support financial reporting accuracy by ensuring data integrity and tool availability through continuous monitoring. Liaise with the user community to provide functional expertise and consultative support for improved service delivery. Investigate and resolve reported user issues or daily batch reporting discrepancies to maintain system reliability. Facilitate effective communication between business units, IT, and PMO to align geographically distributed teams. Proactively update users on major incidents or planned application downtime to manage operational expectations. Identify business line impacts generated by new solutions to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption. Share domain knowledge by providing documentation and training to empower the user community. Prepare reports and dashboards in accordance with established operating procedures to support management decision-making. Maintain high standards by performing recurring quality checks and controls to ensure process excellence. The Strengths And Skills That Will Help You Succeed Bachelor’s or master’s in business, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field The knowledge of English is required. * Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, accounting systems, or financial services system implementations. Reasoned problem solving when addressing complex technical or functional issues. Collaborative approach when working within cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups. Responsible management of user tickets via designated online support tools to ensure timely resolution. Committed customer focus to maintain high standards of service excellence. Understanding of financial and management accounting principles to support control processes. Effective communication skills to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Active listening and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders and development teams. Familiarity with IT systems and testing methodologies to bridge the business and IT interface.
