Lead Supplier Risk Management: Lead the supplier risk management framework, governance process, and risk review boards. Oversee supplier risk assessments covering operational, financial, capacity, quality, and geopolitical risks. Ensure supplier continuity plans and mitigation strategies are established and maintained. Drive Supplier Recovery & Intervention Programs: Lead supplier recovery initiatives for critical delivery, quality, capacity, or financial issues. Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop, execute, and monitor corrective action plans. Escalate major risks and support sourcing, transition, or supplier replacement strategies when required. Manage Supplier Risk Teams: Lead, coach, and develop Supplier Risk Managers and intervention specialists. Prioritize team activities based on supply chain risk exposure and business impact. Drive consistent risk management practices and build organizational risk management capabilities. Project & Program Management: Lead supplier risk reduction, resilience, and business continuity projects. Develop recovery roadmaps, project plans, milestones, and executive reporting. Coordinate stakeholders and facilitate issue resolution across functions. Data-Driven Risk Management: Monitor supplier performance trends and early warning indicators through analytics. Identify and prioritize emerging risks requiring mitigation or intervention. Support executive decision-making through predictive risk assessments and recommendations. Governance & Continuous Improvement Maintain supplier risk registers, governance standards, and reporting processes. Lead recurring risk reviews and develop lessons learned from intervention activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen supply chain resilience and alignment with procurement and supplier performance strategies. How to thrive in this role? Experience: 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Management, Supplier Development, Operations, Procurement, or Manufacturing within aerospace or complex industrial environments. 5+ years of experience leading teams and/or managing large-scale supplier recovery initiatives. Supply Chain & Risk Management Expertise: Strong understanding of supplier risk management methodologies and frameworks. Experience assessing supplier financial, operational, capacity, and quality risks. Knowledge of business continuity planning and supply chain resilience strategies. Experience managing supplier recovery and turnaround programs. Project & Program Management: Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects. Strong planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills. Experience developing recovery roadmaps, project plans, and executive governance packages. Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency with SAP and ERP systems. Strong understanding of supply chain KPIs and supplier performance metrics. Experience using Power BI, analytics platforms, and reporting tools. Ability to interpret risk dashboards and convert data into actionable plans. Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and people management capabilities. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. Ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders across functions. Skilled in conflict resolution, negotiation, and escalation management. Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or professional Supply Chain certifications are considered assets. Languages: Bilingual French and English (written and spoken) preferred.
