Work on the weekend shift, 12 hours per day, from Friday to Sunday. Plan and supervise the activities and management of a team of approximately 25 unionized employees. Be responsible for the operational processes by achieving and monitoring the objectives. Plan the daily operations and follow up on them. Adhere to the management system by reporting and analyzing various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc. Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner. Maintain communication with other departments for any issue related to his sector. Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process. Ensure the training of its employees, evaluate their performance and their progress. Promote a work environment based on engagement, teamwork, and open communication. How to thrive in this role? You have a college or university degree in aeronautics, engineering, operations management or a related field. You have at least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role in a unionized manufacturing environment. You have strong planning and organizational skills to ensure results are achieved. You demonstrate managerial courage when managing personnel. You are available, flexible and motivated by a stimulating and changing environment.
