VLT Cashier

JOB SUMMARY Under the general direction of the VLT Site Manager, the cashier will be responsible for daily cashier functions of the VLT site. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform cashier functions and other accounting procedures as assigned. Balances the cash float. Redeem VLT pay slips for cash or cheque as required and ensures slips are marked at time prize is paid out. Exchanges coin and currency as required. Responsible to maintain a high level of professionalism at the VLT site at all times. Provide customer services to the patrons of the VLT site. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Eligible for appropriate security clearance. Demonstrated experience handling large volumes of cash. Detail oriented and highly accurate. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

The cashier is responsible for performing daily accounting procedures, balancing cash floats, and processing VLT pay slips. They must also provide professional customer service to patrons at the VLT site.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience handling large volumes of cash and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. The role requires the ability to work independently, maintain high accuracy, and obtain appropriate security clearance.
