About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Specialist, Resource Management to join our operations team. In this role, you will support day-to-day workforce planning, capacity forecasting, operational process maintenance, and financial tracking for assigned teams. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate data, efficient scheduling, and compliance with established processes — enabling our teams to deliver projects smoothly and on time. Qualifications & Skills * 3-5 years’ experience in resource management, operations coordination, or capacity planning. * Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, resource planning tools, or similar systems. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. * Understanding financial tracking and forecasting processes is an asset. * High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes. * Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization and gap analysis between resource managers and leaders Key Responsibilities Resource Management & Capacity Planning * Manage workforce planning and utilization tracking for assigned teams. * Prepare capacity forecasts using provided inputs and historical data. * Monitor workloads and escalate risks or gaps to the Resource Manager or Director. * Prepare quarterly resourcing data and reports for leadership review. * Proactively adjust plans within approved parameters to ensure demand is met. Operational & Process Excellence * Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational plans. * Participate in operational reviews, providing data and observations to support improvement initiatives. * Ensure compliance with established processes, escalating exceptions when necessary. Financial Planning & Oversight * Track actual labour hours and costs in established systems. * Prepare variance reports for review by Finance or Delivery leads. * Enter and monitor contractor time and invoices. * Support validation of project and resourcing forecasts by providing accurate data. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Timely and accurate workforce planning and utilization reports. * Capacity forecasts delivered on schedule with minimal errors. * Compliance issues identified and escalated promptly. * Accurate and timely financial tracking and reporting. * Contractor invoices processed on schedule. Compensation: The expected base salary compensation for this role is $69,816.10 to $94,693.50 CAD annually.
