Business Partner, People and Culture

Partnering closely with business leaders, you’ll support workforce planning, employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives that make a meaningful impact on both people and business performance. This role is based in Toronto, Ontario. What You’ll Do * Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on workforce planning, talent strategies, and organizational design * Coach leaders through team dynamics, performance management, employee relations, and engagement opportunities * Ensure the consistent and fair application of People & Culture policies, programs, and practices * Provide guidance on employment legislation and organizational policies, balancing compliance, risk mitigation, and business needs * Partner with leaders to design and implement initiatives that strengthen engagement, belonging, and recognition * Support talent and career development through coaching conversations, performance discussions, and learning opportunities * Leverage people data and analytics to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and provide actionable insights that inform decision-making * Support key moments across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, internal movement, and offboarding, to ensure a positive employee experience * Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance People & Culture service delivery across the organization * Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals What You Bring * 3-5 years of relevant experience in People and Culture (HR) or a similar field * Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. The expected starting compensation for this position is between $79,700 to $84,000 annually, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
