We are looking for a Service Technician with the drive and ambition to succeed in a dealership environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Service / Coach Bus Technician is responsible for maintaining a modern fleet of highway coaches and school buses. If you take pride in ensuring passengers travel safely and comfortably across BC, we want you on our team. Responsibilities shall include: * Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts. * Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards. * Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized. * Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered. * Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job. * Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development. * Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment. QUALIFICATIONS * A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification * BC Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) License is preferred * Previous experience working on Prevost, MCI, or similar highway coach models is an asset * Diagnosing and repairing advanced diesel engines, drive train, and air brake systems/ air ride systems * Troubleshooting complex multiplex electrical systems and specialized coach HVAC units * Class 2 or better drivers license an asset * A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location. * Pride and professionalism in everything you do.
