Click the link below: We Are Boshart [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upikQ6Rxl8g&t=6s] POSITION SUMMARY Boshart Industries is currently looking to hire an Order Picker, who is responsible for the completion and accuracy of all orders filled while maintaining a clean, organized, safe and respectful work environment. As this is an entry level position, the opportunity to be cross trained into other roles may be presented which may include forklift/reach truck training. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Order Fulfillment: * Pick, pack, and transport customer orders, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling. Package products securely to prevent damage during shipment. Notify shipping of rush or same-day orders for immediate dispatch. Inventory and Quality Control: Conduct cycle counts and report quality issues. Maintain organized pick locations and short picks as necessary. Equipment and Technology: Use Radio Frequency Scanners for setting up and redirecting printer locations. Respond to picker notes for specific products. Organization and Maintenance: Keep pick carts clean and orderly. Teamwork and Compliance Working well independently or as part of a team. Operating confidently in a fast-paced environment, following all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, applicable legislation, regulations, statutes, and departmental policies/procedures/practices and operational guidelines. Perform other related duties, as assigned, that are in accordance with job responsibilities and/or necessary departmental or corporate objectives. CORE COMPENTANCIES: * High School diploma or equivalent * Knowledge of water well or plumbing products would be an asset * Previous experience in a warehouse setting is highly beneficial. * Experience operating warehouse equipment such as Radio Frequency scanners, pallet jacks, etc. * Previous forklift experience is an asset * Familiarity with inventory control processes including cycle counting and stock replenishment BEHAVIOURAL COMPENTANCIES: Demonstrated ability to apply the following behavioral competencies on the job: * Goal Orientation – Energetically focusing on efforts aimed at meeting a goal, mission or objective * Decision Making – Utilizing effective processes to make decisions * Team Building – Working effectively and productively with others * Interpersonal Skills – effectively communicating, building rapport and relating well to all kinds of people * Planning/Organizing – Utilizing logical, systematic and orderly procedures to meet objectives * WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical Environment: Work is conducted indoors in a standard warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures depending on the season. (100%) Physical Effort: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Physical strength and stamina required to handle physically demanding movements like pushing, pulling, bending down and lifting of packages. Lifting 60 lb.boxes may be required occasionally. * Some sedentary work. Requires standing or walking for a long period of time. Sensory Attention: Requires the ability to utilize mathematical skills and the ability to coordinate hand and eyes rapidly and accurately in using equipment. The Order Picker is responsible for the accurate picking, packing, and transport of customer orders while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. They must also conduct inventory cycle counts and ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the physical stamina to handle warehouse tasks like lifting up to 60 lbs. Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with radio frequency scanners or forklift operation are considered significant assets.
