Boucher Bros Lumber Ltd. is seeking an experienced individual to fill a role as Heavy equipment Operator. The position requires shift work but will typically have weekends off. Applicants for the Heavy Equipment Operator position should have experience in operating at least 2 of the following types of mobile equipment: Wheel loaders, Dozer/ Crawler, Butt-N-Top/ Excavator, Grader, Skid-steer, or Rock-truck. Safety is very important to Boucher Bros. Lumber Ltd. and as such the successful candidate will be expected to adhere to all company policies & procedures, and to be proactive in identifying & reporting potential hazards that could arise. Responsible To: Mill Supervisors Qualifications: Must have a minimum 1 - 3 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in a high volume and demanding environment Valid Class 5 Drivers License Physically Fit Team player but also possess the ability to work alone. High level of integrity and work ethic. Strong attention to detail. Written and Oral communication skills in English and/or French. Excellent time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to document tasks. Bondable Current Standard First Aid Certification is an asset Education and Experience: High school diploma preferred but not required. Operator ticket will be considered an asset Shift Schedule: (all shifts are subject to change) 2-week Day Shift/ Night Shift Rotation 4-day weeks Schedules up to 88hrs bi-weekly.
