Boucher Bros Lumber is seeking an individual to fill a role as an apprentice Millwright. Role will involve maintenance activities including (but not limited to) install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment. A successful candidate should have previous experience working as a Millwright in a manufacturing facility, problem solving, planning and maintenance knowledge. Safety is very important to Boucher Bros. Lumber Ltd. and as such the successful candidate will be expected to adhere to all company policies & procedures, and to be proactive in identifying & reporting potential hazards that could arise. Hours of Work: Work will be on 7 days on, 7 days off, rotating schedule. The position requires shift work (Day and night rotations). May require on-call availability. Qualifications: Ability to prioritize tasks to maintain safe and efficient production processes. Ability to Identify hazards and control them with appropriate procedures. Can Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and other related devices. Can Implement preventive maintenance programs as necessary. Maintains, develops, and reports accurate and timely maintenance records. Valid Class 5 Drivers License Physically Fit Team player but also must possess the ability to work alone. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to document tasks. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity and work ethic. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management and organization skills Written and Oral communication skills in English Education and Experience: Industrial or manufacturing industry experience required (Min. of 1 year, Sawmill experience considered an asset.) Current Standard First Aid and Level C CPR/AED certification, considered an asset. Other Requirements: Ability to commute/ relocate to local area.
