The Board invites applications from qualified teachers for the following position: LOCATION: Assumption College School, Brantford Grade(s)/Subject(s) Religion and Guidance and Career Education Fte 1.0 FTE Qualification(s) Intermediate/Senior Religion and Guidance and Career Education, Part 1 EXISTING VACANCY: No Salary The posted salary range reflects the base rate up to A2 Max; actual compensation may be higher in accordance with the collective agreement, considering years of experience and QECO classification. In accordance with the OECTA Collective Agreement, the Board shall identify the three (3) most senior applicants to the position who hold the required qualifications for the position, to be interviewed. If no qualified occasional teacher applies, or if all qualified applicants decline the interview, the Board shall consider external qualified applicants who are not on the occasional teacher roster. The Board shall access and review the information contained in an applicant's portfolio for hiring purposes. Applicants are encouraged to ensure their portfolio is current and contains all relevant information, including information about Additional Qualifications that are not currently listed on your Certificate of Qualification as issued by the Ontario College of Teachers. Applicants being considered for this position shall be contact via email and asked to confirm their interest in the position, by the end of the business day after the posting closes, by responding to the email. Applicants that fail to respond within the timeline shall be deemed unavailable for the assignment. About Us The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board offers a Christ-centered education to over 13,000 students from Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties, the City of Brantford, Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The district has approximately 2,100 full and part-time staff committed to supporting Belonging, Teaching and Learning, and Wellness for all. We currently have 29 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools and a multisite Alternative Education school, and 3 administrative offices.
