INTERIM CONTRACT - Permanent Position: Intermediate/Senior Religion and Guidance and Career Education, Part 1 (1.0 FTE) at Assumption College School, Brantford

The Board invites applications from qualified teachers for the following position: LOCATION: Assumption College School, Brantford Grade(s)/Subject(s) Religion and Guidance and Career Education Fte 1.0 FTE Qualification(s) Intermediate/Senior Religion and Guidance and Career Education, Part 1 EXISTING VACANCY: No Salary The posted salary range reflects the base rate up to A2 Max; actual compensation may be higher in accordance with the collective agreement, considering years of experience and QECO classification. In accordance with the OECTA Collective Agreement, the Board shall identify the three (3) most senior applicants to the position who hold the required qualifications for the position, to be interviewed. If no qualified occasional teacher applies, or if all qualified applicants decline the interview, the Board shall consider external qualified applicants who are not on the occasional teacher roster. The Board shall access and review the information contained in an applicant's portfolio for hiring purposes. Applicants are encouraged to ensure their portfolio is current and contains all relevant information, including information about Additional Qualifications that are not currently listed on your Certificate of Qualification as issued by the Ontario College of Teachers. About Us The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board offers a Christ-centered education to over 13,000 students from Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties, the City of Brantford, Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The successful candidate will provide instruction in Religion and Guidance and Career Education for Intermediate and Senior students. They will support student learning and wellness within a Christ-centered educational environment.

Applicants must hold the required Intermediate/Senior qualifications in Religion and Guidance and Career Education, Part 1. Candidates must be qualified teachers, with preference given to those on the occasional teacher roster.
