Résumé du poste

Overview A creator with millions of subscribers wants to launch a product line, hire a real team, and shoot a full season of content this quarter. Selling equity isn't on the table. Neither is handing over royalties or taking notes from a studio. That's the call we get. Building the deal that answers it is your job. Breeze provides growth capital to YouTube creators without taking equity, royalties, or creative control. We manage a fund of over $100M and have financed channels including Smosh, ZHC, ThatWasEpic, and Andreas Eskander. We're hiring an Associate on the deal side. You’ll pick things up once a creator is already in a live conversation, and your job is to get that conversation to funding. Pull the channel numbers together. Help shape the offer. Chase down the last outstanding document. Give underwriting what it needs. Manage the closing paperwork. Real deal work is hands-on and detail-heavy, and this is real deal work. Some weeks lean into financial analysis, some into prepping for creator calls, some into fixing a process that's slowing everyone down. You'll see every stage of a transaction in a category of credit that barely existed five years ago, pricing deals most of finance wouldn't know how to touch. Built to grow into originating and closing your own. What you'll do Own the pipeline in HubSpot: run deals through each stage, flag offers before they go cold, forecast weekly, and keep the team current on where every live deal stands. Build the deal: review channel metrics, revenue history, and comparable transactions to form a point of view on each opportunity. Turn analysis into motion: write deal memos, structure funding options, and send follow-ups sharp enough to keep a deal moving instead of sitting. Close it: coordinate underwriting, finance, legal, and marketing so nothing stalls between offer and signature. Sit in the room: join calls with some of the biggest names on YouTube, running the relationship from intro through close and beyond. Prep like it matters: build one-pagers with creator deep dives, revenue overviews, and term summaries a creator can read without a finance background. Play the long game: know your book cold, and catch top-up or refinance opportunities with existing clients before their term ends. Credited to you as a new deal. Where it goes This role has real room to grow, in scope and within the company. Execution comes first. Leading conversations comes next, then originating and closing your own deals, then building a book of your own. Speed depends on performance, not tenure. Expect regular feedback, clear checkpoints, and a pace set by what you take on. What we're looking for 2–5 years in finance, fintech, SaaS sales, or something adjacent HubSpot experience, or a CRM run with real discipline — clean stages, accurate forecasting, clear deal ownership Judgment. You know what matters first and act on it Organized enough to hold many moving pieces at once without dropping one Clear, direct writing Coachable. You turn feedback into better work fast Genuine interest in YouTube and the creator economy Toronto-based, and up for being in the office full-time Nice to have: financial analysis, revenue and cash flow projections, DCF, three-statement modelling Compensation $60,000–$80,000 base + uncapped bonus Base reviewed annually, with increases tied to performance Sound like your kind of work?
