Senior Law Clerk — Commercial Real Estate | Real Estate & Banking Department Our client a leading firm is looking for an Senior Law Clerk — 8+ years deep in commercial real estate, with real ownership of transactions from open to close. This isn't a role for someone who wants to be handed a checklist. You'll have complete carriage of files: title and off-title searches, drafting closing documents, running due diligence, managing requisitions and title repair, right through to registration. If you're the kind of clerk who sees three steps ahead on a file before anyone asks — who flags the issue before it becomes a problem — this is built for you. You'll be trusted to run purchases, sales, financings, leasing, conveyancing and development-related work (including title conversions) largely independently, while working alongside a team of lawyers, clerks and legal administrative assistants who rely on you to keep things moving. You'll have: 8+ years handling commercial real estate transactions, start to finish Deep comfort with due diligence, title/off-title review, and requisitions Drafting skill — agreements, closing docs, correspondence, from precedent or direction The organizational discipline to run multiple files without dropping a thread A mature, strikingly confident approach to client and opposing counsel communication Comfort taking direction on strategy while owning execution The role day to day: Full carriage of transactions — searches, drafting, closing, registration Direct liaison with clients and government authorities Managing deadlines that don't move Working independently, but never in isolation Three days a week in office This is a role for a superstar clerk who's ready to be trusted with real responsibility — not just tasked with paperwork.
