As an Contract Enhanced Support Worker (ECA or RECE), you will work side-by-side with teachers and children to provide enhanced support to children with special needs. Responsibilities include: • Helping children with various degrees of need in the learning environment. • Planning and implementing programming based on needs of children. • Providing support to other classroom staff. • Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children. • Effectively communicating and building a relationship with children and families. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) OR Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) • Must meet province requirements for childcare employment • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR • Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements • 1 year of experience working in the childcare field or in a position with children who have diverse learned or developmental delays preferred If this sounds like a good fit, we want to meet you! The Enhanced Support Worker provides specialized assistance to children with diverse needs within a classroom setting. They are responsible for planning educational programming and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for all children.

Candidates must hold an Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) or Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) certification. Additionally, applicants must possess current First Aid and CPR certification and meet all provincial childcare employment requirements.
