Position Summary Compensation: $65 - $90 per hour. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work with children with diverse needs at BrightPath centres across Calgary to promote independence, development, and participation in daily activities. Duties and Responsibilities * Maintain license and certification requirements, adhering to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by professional organizations such as the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT). * Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create supportive and effective environments for the child * Monitor and evaluate the progress of intervention plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes * Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, intervention plans, and progress notes * Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization * Contribute to program development and clinical quality initiatives for the organization Qualifications/Required * Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. * Registered member, in good standing with the ACOT. * Specialization or experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team. * Exceptional organizational skills. * Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to positively impact the lives of the families we serve. * Valid Alberta driver’s license, access to a vehicle during work hours, and willingness to drive to BrightPath centers throughout Calgary. * Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check. * School year contract position. Must have their own insurance.
