Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well. Salary range (but not limited to): 44,700 - 54,700 Incentive plan Commissions & other performance incentives: Expected, but not limited payout potential of 10-15% of salary (subject to personal and team performance) About the role We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our BrokerLink team! As a Personal Insurance Advisor, you’ll build trusted relationships with clients and tailor coverage solutions to protect what matters most. You will play an essential role in serving the community and providing exceptional service to our customers, whether they visit in person or reach out by phone. If you’re customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about simplifying insurance, we’d love to hear from you! PLEASE NOTE: If you do not already hold a General insurance license, you must be prepared to study for and pass the provincial insurance licensing exam. This on-site position is available in our Huntsville, ON (110 North Kinton Avenue) office. Your work schedule: 35 hours a week. Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm What you’ll do here: Service on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business Quote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receive walk-in clients Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes Actively participate in training initiatives Participate in community marketing initiatives Process Account Receivable activities Provide guidance and assistance as requested What you bring to the table: Preference will be given to candidates who hold a RIBO or OTL license and/or have insurance experience Previous customer service, sales and/or call center experience Strong customer focus Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exposure to Epic is an asset No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada #LI-Onsite This role is a new member of our growing team.
