Brunel is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant – Senior Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise transformation program focused on modernizing a mission-critical HR and payroll platform. This role will join an Enterprise Architecture team, supporting Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities across a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and supporting secure identity management, authentication, authorization, and access governance throughout the implementation lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IAM professional with a strong background in identity governance, access management, authentication, and enterprise security within large, complex organizations. Responsibilities Support the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions Collaborate with enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure, and application teams to define identity and access requirements Design and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models and identity governance processes Support user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access lifecycle management Assist with authentication and authorization technologies, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Participate in security reviews, access audits, compliance activities, and risk assessments Develop and maintain IAM documentation, standards, procedures, and technical artifacts Support the implementation of secure identity management practices across enterprise applications Troubleshoot identity and access-related issues while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders Ensure IAM solutions align with security policies, governance standards, and project objectives Qualifications 5–8 years of Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience within large enterprise environments Experience implementing or supporting enterprise IAM and identity governance solutions Strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, or comparable enterprise identity platforms Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills Experience working within regulated or security-focused environments Must be eligible to obtain PSPC Reliability Clearance Nice to Have Big 4 consulting experience Government of Canada or broader public sector project experience Active PSPC Reliability Clearance or Secret Clearance Experience supporting enterprise HRIS, ERP, or digital transformation initiatives Experience with identity governance platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Ping Identity, or similar technologies Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and modern identity security practices Bilingual (English/French) Why Work With Brunel Brunel is a global workforce solutions and recruitment partner supporting some of the world's largest organizations across technology, financial services, mining, life sciences, and engineering.
