The Role We are looking for a dynamic Health and Safety Instructor & Consultant to drive impact both in the classroom and on the worksite. In this hybrid role, you will deliver high-impact safety courses (including CPO-approved Working at Heights), assist with performing site safety assessments, assist clients with program development, and provide expert guidance on incident investigations and workplace compliance. Key Responsibilities as Instructor, Consultant Promary role is to Facilitate & Educate: Lead engaging, compliant classroom and field training sessions for diverse adult audiences. Second role is Professional Consultant: Conduct site safety audits, assist with policy/program development, advise and assist clients on legislative compliance and incident response. Build Relationships: Partner directly with our clients to identify safety gaps, offer professionally delieverd instruction, and assist with refining course content Qualifications & Requirements OHS Education: Post-secondary diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety (College or University) preferred, but not necessary Professional Designation: Active CRST or CRSP designation preferred. Industry Background: Practical experience in construction, industrial, or related heavy sectors; prior safety consulting experience is a strong asset. Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional in adult instruction, presentation, and technical writing skills. Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites across the region. Execution: Strong organizational skills with time management and the ability to manage multiple training or consulting engagements seamlessly. Communicaiton is everything. Why Join Us?
