Role Summary Seeking a results-driven BSA with strong Canadian Insurance and/or Wealth Management experience to bridge business and technology teams, define high-quality requirements, and support delivery of regulatory, digital, and transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Elicit, analyze, and document business, system, data, and non-functional requirements. • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to deliver strategic initiatives. • Create user stories, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and traceability artifacts. • Support SIT/UAT planning, test case review, defect triage, release readiness, and production validation. • Drive Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, impact assessment, and solution walkthroughs. Required Experience • 7+ years of Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst experience. • Hands-on experience in Canadian Insurance and/or Wealth Management domains. • Knowledge of Group Benefits, Claims, Life Insurance, Investment Products, RRSP, TFSA, Portfolio Management, and Client Onboarding. • Familiarity with Canadian regulatory considerations including OSFI, CIRO, FINTRAC, AML/KYC, and privacy requirements. Technical Skills Delivery Tools Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps Analysis SQL, data analysis, data mapping, reconciliation Integration API understanding, system integration, service-oriented architecture Process Mapping Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN-style process flows Preferred Qualifications • CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, SAFe, CSC, IFIC, or Wealth Management Essentials certification is an asset. • Experience working with major Canadian insurers, wealth firms, banks, or financial services platforms. • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ideal Candidate Profile A domain-aware BSA who can translate complex insurance and wealth business needs into clear technology outcomes, improve delivery clarity, and support measurable business value across Canadian financial services programs. Ce que vous ferez
The role involves eliciting and documenting business, system, and data requirements to bridge the gap between business and technology teams. You will also support Agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, and assist with SIT/UAT planning and defect triage.
Exigences
Candidates must have over 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with specific expertise in Canadian Insurance or Wealth Management. Proficiency in SQL, Agile tools like Jira, and knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks such as OSFI and AML/KYC is required.
