Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Core Payments / Payments Modernization Location: Toronto, Canada – Hybrid Duration: 12 months plus Contract Experience: 12+ years overall, 10+ years relevant Role Summary: Looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong Core Payments and Banking experience in the US/Canadian banking domain. The candidate will support payment modernization initiatives and work closely with business, technology, operations, compliance, risk, fraud, and vendor teams.Mandatory Skills12+ years Business Analyst experience10+ years in Core Payments / Payment BankingStrong US/Canadian Banking domain experiencePayments modernization experienceHands-on knowledge of RTP, FedNow, RTR, Lynx, ACH, EFT, InteracISO 20022 payment messages and data mappingStrong BRD, FRD, process flows, business rules, use casesJira, Epics, Features, User Stories, Acceptance CriteriaAgile / Scrum / BDD / GherkinPayment lifecycle: initiation, validation, routing, settlement, reconciliation, returns, exceptionsExperience with API, Payment Hub, Core Banking and third-party integrationsKnowledge of Payments Canada, FINTRAC, OSFI, AML, KYC, SanctionsStrong stakeholder management and business-to-technology liaison experience
