Position: Test Lead – SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration Experience Location: Calgary, AB 100% Onsite Duration: Long Term Contract Role Overview We currently operate two SAP environments: a legacy on-premises SAP ECC system supporting U.S. and Canada operations, and a cloud-hosted SAP S/4HANA environment on RISE. With SAP’s end of standard maintenance for ECC and an increasing need for modernization, we are executing a multi-year SAP Modernization Program to consolidate its SAP landscape onto S/4HANA on RISE. The current phase is focused on the brownfield migration of ECC systems to SAP S/4HANA on RISE, including selective data migration and end-to-end delivery across design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare. This phase represents a large-scale, integration-heavy effort requiring coordination across multiple value streams, SAP and non-SAP systems, and a System Integrator (SI) responsible for significant portions of delivery. Key Responsibilities 1. Integrated Test Strategy & E2E Coverage Lead and maintain the cross-value-stream test strategy and plan Support end-to-end scenario definition and completeness across streams Ensure traceability across requirements, scenarios, and test cases Validate integration points, dependencies, and cross-stream coverage with QA Leads 2. Cross-Stream Coordination & Execution Act as central coordination point across all QA streams, SI, and business teams Align execution across SIT, UAT, and mock cycles Manage cross-stream dependencies, sequencing, and readiness Drive consistent execution approach across value streams 3. Integration Governance & Issue Management Establish and run cross-stream defect triage and command center Support definition and alignment of the ownership and escalation model for integration issues Drive root cause resolution for cross-stream defects Escalate risks based on end-to-end business impact 4. UAT Orchestration (Program-Level) Coordination of UAT execution across ~150 business testers Define execution framework, schedule, and tracking Support QA Leads in coordinating UAT within their streams Ensure consistent execution, coverage, and accountability across teams 5. Data, Quality, and Readiness Oversee test data strategy, validation, and reconciliation Ensure environment readiness and entry criteria across streams Drive test asset quality, standardization, and automation readiness Provide program-level reporting and go/no-go readiness indicators Deliverables Integrated test strategy and plan E2E scenario coverage view Program-level UAT execution framework and tracking Cross-stream defect triage and reporting Test data and validation approach Readiness reporting and go/no-go assessments Experience S/4HANA brownfield / ERP integration testing leadership experience Proven delivery of cross-stream, end-to-end testing Experience managing large-scale UAT (100+ testers) Strong understanding of SAP integrations and data validation Ability to drive alignments across multiple teams and vendors Operating Model QE Leadership: Governance, standards, oversight Value Stream QA Leads: Stream-level execution Cross-Value-Stream Test Lead: Supports integration, E2E coverage, and coordination Aligns QA Leads Supports program-level UAT execution Success Criteria Complete end-to-end scenario coverage across streams Consistent execution across QA Leads Effective SIT/UAT delivery with minimal cross-stream defects Clear, data-driven readiness decisions Reduced dependency on QE leadership

Lead the integrated test strategy and end-to-end scenario coverage for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA brownfield migration. Coordinate cross-stream testing, manage defect triage, and orchestrate program-level User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple value streams.

Must have proven leadership experience in SAP S/4HANA brownfield or ERP integration testing. Candidates should demonstrate experience managing large-scale UAT with over 100 testers and a strong understanding of SAP integrations and data validation.
