Calian is proud to continue a long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces. Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members. Position Overview Calian is excited to announce an opportunity for a Primary Care Physician to join our dedicated clinical team at CFB Borden. As a primary care physician at CFB Borden you’ll be at the forefront of delivering comprehensive healthcare services to a motivated and appreciative patient population. Your contributions will be essential in providing top-tier primary care, managing occupational health needs, addressing minor traumas, promoting health and wellness, and preventing diseases and injuries. You’ll also be involved in rehabilitation and support services, ensuring that those who serve our nation are at their best—both in health and in readiness. Responsibilities Provide Comprehensive primary medical care to patients with acute and chronic health conditions including referral to other health care providers when warranted. Deliver occupational health services such as, but not limited to: Referral of patients for participation in programs for the use of indicated personal protective devices – hearing conservation, respiratory protection program. Communicate with Senior Medical Authority on relevant clinical matters such as CF Spectrum of Care, complex patients requiring multi- disciplinary intervention, individual operational readiness. Maintain patient medical information in Electronic Health Record and patient health records. Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario Certification in Family Medicine with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) Basic Life Support for Health Providers or CPR/AED Level C Additional Requirements You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level Compensation Based on skills and experience as outlined in the statement of work Vacancy We have 2 positions available # Perks And Benefits Weekday hours 7:30am – 4pm No evenings, weekends or on-call responsibilities Guaranteed hourly rate No overhead or administrative fees typically associated with office-based practice Generous allotment of time for booked appointments Collaborative multidisciplinary team Easy access to onsite specialists and support services

Exigences
