Job Description Salary Range: $36.84 - $51.77 Full time contract expected to end April 2027 Position Summary: The Medical Radiation Technologist performs a variety of radiological imaging techniques, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, operating room studies and CT. The CT/X-Ray Technologist will work days, evenings and nights including weekends and participate in an on-call rotation. When on-call the MRT must be able to be at the hospital within 30 minutes to attend to the emergenct patient. The MRT will also participate in student clinical education. The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change. Skills and Qualifications: Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists preferred Experience in general radiography, gastrics, mobile radiography, intra-operative radiography including orthopedic radiographic OR procedures is required. Experience in CT including IV access and contrast media injections is required Evidence of continuing education related to the profession is required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Regular attendance is required As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community from COVID-19, subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Cambridge Memorial Hospital requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.
