The Role Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the Warehouseperson 2 is responsible for helping maintain the inventory of products at the Cigar Lake warehouse. Job duties may include loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, working in the underground warehouse and general warehouse maintenance. The job of a warehouseperson often involves using a computer tracking system. In This Role, You Will Issue materials from various warehouse facilities. Ship and receive goods. Manage the inventory cycle counts and data entry. Load and off-load all general freight. Use a handheld device and report in Excel. Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned. Required grade 12 education or equivalent; minimum three to five years’ related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment; experience with job kitting, cycle counting, and MRP review; equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; advanced computer skills, including the use of ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, and handheld devices; forklift and loader operator certifications; valid Class 5 drivers’ license; experience using a handheld device to perform daily warehouse activities; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft. Recommended experience working with SAP; and previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods. Conditions Of Employment pre-employment substance test.
