Master Scheduler

Responsibility Summary The Master Scheduler is responsible for aligning demand, supply, and capacity across CPS’s global operations to support project execution and aftermarket requirements. This role ensures the business has the right materials, inventory, and production readiness in place to meet customer needs while supporting long-term operational performance. The role connects different stakeholders across the business to ensure forecast visibility, secured capacity, and reliable delivery performance. Success in this position depends on strong planning discipline, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate demand signals into executable supply chain actions. What you will do? In this role, you will work collaboratively with Key Account teams to obtain forecasts for bids and upcoming projects, while partnering with Business Strategy Analysts to establish forecast assumptions for aftermarket filter needs. You will translate these inputs into a clear planning view that supports both growth and execution. You will develop a capacity planning strategy to align global needs across engineering, manufacturing, and filter production, and you will provide and maintain the master schedule used by category managers, engineering managers, and filter production plants. This includes ensuring planning assumptions remain current and actionable across functions. You will collaborate with Key Account teams to ensure Supply Chain can execute on potential orders and work closely with category managers to secure appropriate capacity at strategic suppliers. You will also consolidate secured capacity for major components and establish a regular operating rhythm to review cross-functional deliverables and keep execution aligned with customer need dates. In addition, you will collaborate with Category Managers to assess warehousing needs and opportunities, determine appropriate inventory levels for global warehouses, and work with Camfil production plants to ensure aftermarket demand will be met. Your focus will be on balancing availability, responsiveness, and working capital across the global network. You should also be able to assess warehousing needs, inventory opportunities, and supply readiness in a structured and practical way. A continuous improvement mindset, ERP knowledge, and the ability to build alignment across teams will be highly valuable in this role. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or business is required, and an MBA is strongly preferred. SCMP or CPIM certification is desirable. You must have 10+ years of experience in planning, sourcing, supply chain management, and related industry or operations management environments. Strong experience working across complex supply chains and coordinating demand, capacity, and execution is required. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with the ability to influence and work effectively cross-functionally as well as vertically in a regional/global matrixed organization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities are also required. You should have strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knowledge of sourcing ERP systems and strong computer skills are important, along with knowledge and skills in driving change management and continuous improvement. Solid experience with quality system tools, methods, and processes is expected, and experience in lean manufacturing is preferred. You must be able to travel internationally and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
